Regional Density - Access to 7 locations in Greater Boston
Coworking is all about flexibility and agility, or at least, at Workbar we believe it should be.
If you choose to base your personal business and your team at Workbar South Station, you also have the opportunity to work from other Workbar locations including Cambridge, Somerville, Arlington, Norwood, Salem and Burlington. Additionally, you have the option to work from any of our network partners – some of the best local coworking spaces across Massachusetts. With a membership or an office at Coalition Boston, on the other hand, you have to work from the same space every day.

Four Modern Neighborhoods to Support Different Work Styles
One of the unique benefits of working at Workbar is having access to our sectionated work neighborhoods. While other coworking spaces, like Coalition Boston, only offer one environment for members to work out of, we have created four distinct areas that support productivity, efficiency and interaction. We understand that not everyone works the same way, that’s why our spaces were designed to facilitate different work styles.
1) The Cafe - A conversation-friendly area with ambient music
2) The Commons - A space designed for team collaboration, no phones allowed!
3) The Switchboard - Phone-friendly area, great for conference calls and sales teams
4) The Study - Think of this space like a library, a completely quiet are for heads-down work.

Membership Options for Tailored to Your Needs
Whether you are just starting out your personal business, or own a growth-stage company, the last thing you want to do with your budget is overpay for a workspace. At Workbar, we have designed our membership plans to support the unique needs of our members. We have both full-time and part-time options available, as well as offices and dedicated desks. Why pay a large monthly fee for a hot desk at Coalition Space if you only need to space a couple of times a month? At Workbar, you only pay for what you use.

Generous Meeting Room Hours & Communal Areas
Due to overcrowded spaces and limited amount of conference rooms, many coworking spaces in the city severely restrict conference room hours included in each membership – some, like Coalition coworking, offer a maximum of 4 hours of conference room time for full-time memberships and office spaces. That is only 1 hour per week, at maximum.
At Workbar, we understand the value of having a private space just for your team – you might want to have a weekly meeting or host an important client. That’s why we give our members a generous allotment of meeting room hours included in every membership. Part-time members get 5 hours/month, full-time and office space members get 10 hours/month and groups get up to 40 hours/month.

Numerous Members-Only Community Events
A coworking membership usually comes with access to a number of events, but you should know that not all events are created equal. Most coworking spaces, including Coalition Space (Coalition Boston), organize public events that primarily focused on attracting non-members to the space. At Workbar, we have developed an events calendar highlighting both public and members-only events each month. We believe that by hosting multiple members-only events, we are helping our goal of building a strong community. On any given month, our community managers organize professional and social events for members, including panel and workshops on diverse topics, catered members lunches, game nights, yoga classes, cooking demos, networking nights, and more.

A Local Space with Insider Knowledge of the Community
Workar first opened its doors in 2009 in the heart of Boston’s business district, and our team is proud to be part of the city’s original coworking space. As a company born-and-bred in the region, we know the ins and outs of the Boston’s tech and innovation scene, and that is part of every aspect of our business, including our events programming, our partnerships, our perk partners program and more.
