May the 4th Be With You: A Tribute to Star Wars

With teaser trailers just released for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens coming out this Christmas, excitement and anticipation for  Star Wars is at an all-time high. So in honor of May the 4th, we asked the Workbar community to share their most shameless moments of Star Wars geekdom. Here’s what they had for us.

May the 4th

Legendary Director of Events Abby Taylor holding her AT-AT close to her heart (and is that…a Leia wig? Why yes it is).

Alexa Lightner, Director of Community Development for the Workbar Network gettin’ lumpy as Jabba the Hutt, next to her boyfriend all dolled up as Han Solo. If you look closely, you may even spot Leia in the gold bikini

Member Dan Scarnecchia shared with us the epic cake his sister made him on his 28th birthday

Hey Dan, in case you didn’t know- that’s love. We hope you thanked your sister for all that work.

Former Space & Community Manager Mary Anne Rodis feeling herself as Jango Fett.

Space & Community Manager Ann Holland‘s bro-in-law, posing with favorite pal in his favorite tee (the Holland family is very grown-up, as you can see)

Father and son getting in touch with their inner Jedi.

Some casual reading from our former Events Assistant Paige Haber

Abby’s friends Mike Gill and Sean Drinkwater nerding out hard on a casual Thursday.

And of course, we can’t forget some innocent fun with Wampa and friends (with Sailor Moon crossover, obviously)

Want to get geeky? Share your own photos proudly displaying your Star Wars love with us on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram at @Workbar. And of course, May the 4th be with you…
